2010 Senior Showcase at Arrowhead Credit Union Park

The IEBCA 3rd Annual Senior Showcase for all Inland Empire High School players in Riverside or San Bernardino County was held October 23, 2010. Once again it was held at Arrowhead Credit Union Park in downtown San Bernardino. Thank you Ryan English of the Inland Empire 66ers for letting the talent of the IE showcase itself.

What a beautiful day for being at the yard. Around 78 seniors from the Inland Empire showed their baseball talent by running the 60 yd dash, showing off their arm strength, hitting and pitching skills. Some top performers of the day were: Devyn Bolasky from Vista Del Lago running the 60 in top time of 6.96 and Arroyo Valley's Anthony Marquez with a very close second at 6.99. Ruben Rios of Cajon hit the highest mark on the radar gun from the mound with a pitched clocked at 90mph. The top performance pop time came from catcher Chris Oropresa of Etiwanda. Another highlight for the day was Cajon's Ronnie Bunse who hit a line drive home-run to end the day during the scrimmage.

This event is to showcase what talent that the Inland Empire has to offer this year and to expose that talent to the local colleges and scouts.
