MaxPreps.com is the largest, most comprehensive, and highly visited high school sports Web site.
MaxPreps, Inc., was purchased by the CBS Corporation in April of 2007. Before that, MaxPreps was a privately-owned company for nearly five years while reshaping the way high school sports is covered nationally on the Internet. The MaxPreps business is part of CBS-owned CSTV (College Sports Television). CSTV Networks, Inc., is the leading digital and cable programming company dedicated to college sports.

MaxPreps is a celebration of high school sports that seeks to provide coverage for "Every Team, Every Game, and Every Player."

MaxPreps aggregates team and player stats from a variety of sources, including nearly 20,000 high school coaches, and along with its network of reporters and photographers from throughout the nation, the Web site is: "America's Source for High School Sports."

The site, which highlights a wide range of varsity sports, contains over 10 million pages of content and roster information on more than 1 million high school athletes. MaxPreps publishes national rankings for every varsity football team, as well as boys and girls basketball.

During the school year, MaxPreps.com serves more than 2.5 million visitors per month.

MaxPreps syndicates content to dozens of local newspapers and television stations, as well as major national media outlets, including USA Today.

MaxPreps Video Programs
MaxPreps displays game highlights from around the nation in video supplied by media outlets, coaches, correspondents and fans. MaxPreps produces four regularly scheduled short-format sports programs each week that are hosted by Steve Montoya and Chris Stonebraker.

Varsity Center - A mid-week program featuring MaxPreps' teams and players of the week.
Friday 5 - Wraps up each week by giving fans the "Top 5" players, plays and teams of the week.
Weekend Drill - Gives viewers scores and highlights over the weekend from games played around the nation the previous day.
